Rodrigo Pessoa has welcomed a new mount to his stables with the arrival of Prins Van’t Eigenlo, the Belgian Warmblood gelding formerly campaigned by France’s Roger-Yves Bost.
According to the Fédération Équestre Internationale database, the Brazilian Olympic champion acquired the 11-year-old gelding (Vigo d’Arsouilles—La Jolie Van’t Eigenlo, Zandor) on July 30, 2025.
Prins Van’t Eigenlo enjoyed a successful partnership with “Bosty,” the 2016 Olympic team gold medalist, and most recently finished third in the 1.55-meter Canteleu CSI4* (France) in May 2025.

“This is ‘Prins,’ one of our recruits for this year,” Pessoa said in a video shared on social media. “He’s 11, he’s a very powerful jumper, he’s very careful. We’re very excited about him. We’re hoping that very quickly, he’ll be jumping the big classes. He’s also a very sweet horse. We’re looking forward to starting the season with him this year.”
